We were very kindly gifted with a bottle of wine to enjoy, as it was our wedding anniversary. Cleveland Winery is in a beautiful location, with lovely grounds. We enjoyed a leisurely stroll around the property when we arrived - pretty at sunset. Stars were dazzling at night. Breakfast was nice - tasty offerings. Loved the cats that roamed - very friendly and cute.

The grounds are absolutely gorgeous! We loved walking through the vineyard and sitting by the little lake watching geese as they fell asleep and then continuing our walk to visit the sheep and alpacas. At night we loved sitting by the bonfire and taking in the uninterrupted view of the stars. The estate is also close to town which is great - especially if the farmers markets are on. The staff were very friendly and if you love animals the estate was home to two beautiful cats mum and daughter Lexi and Scrumpy!

The property itself was beautiful with beautiful surrounds. Room was clean and comfy and had everything we needed for a two night stay. After reading some of the reviews, I was a little concerned with noise levels, however, my partner and I did not hear so much as footsteps outside our room, let alone any rowdy people as other reviews have suggested. Overall, we had a relaxing and comfortable stay! breakfast was rustic and delicious, however we didn’t eat dinner at the restaurant based on the mixed reviews, but lots of options in the area surrounding the property . The wine tasting was great and we even took home a couple of bottles.

Cleveland Estate fulfilled all our expectations providing a fabulous overnight stay in Lancefield. The facilities and gardens are stunning and the room was perfectly clean and peaceful. There was a slight mixup with our room which was resolved immediately. Thank you to Kate who went above and beyond to ensure our room and stay was perfect. Will definitely return to Cleveland Estate, a hidden gem easily accessible from Melbourne. The buildings and facilities have been developed with vision and sensitivity to the environment, providing stunning panoramic views to the hills.

From the minute we arrived Kate was welcoming and told us all we needed to know. Beautiful grounds, complimentary drink hour, fantastic dinner options at the onsite restaurant. Hearty breakfast and a super cute cat to help you start the morning :) Bed was super comfy and great to have the patio access. Checking in was a breeze and super friendly, booking was easy, lots of information provided. Ended up being very good value

Good sized rooms overlooking the lovely landscaped grounds - very relaxing in the beautiful setting around the homestead. The view from the restaurant and deck over the vineyard were stunning. Kate at Reception was a delight and the breakfast spread was delicious. The set dinner one night was delicious and enjoyable with attentive friendly service. The winetasting was interesting just a little busy with the Easter crowds. We had a great time relaxing and enjoying the wonderful setting and will return when next in the area.

The grounds were beautiful, and there were so many hidden gems throughout the property. We went wine tasting underground in a cellar lit by beautiful candles, played pool and chatted on the beautiful leather couches. Shared a classy cocktail in the lounge where I had the "best cocktail" I have ever tried called Christmas Buttercup. By nightfall we walked through the beautiful gardens and food a fire pit where the wood was set up for someone to light. My partner and I sat by the fire and looked at the stars. Breakfast was rustic and wholesome and the coffees were delicious. Can't wait to go back and stay a couple of nights.

Gorgeous hotel in a great location. Lovely views and very relaxing. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Kate at reception was amazing - there was an issue with our room on the first night and when we explained it to her the next morning she moved us immediately and made absolutely sure we had a good nights sleep the second night.

I loved everything about Cleveland Estate, customer service (Charlotte and her manager), views, gardens, courtyard, breakfast, sunset, sunrise, tranquility, woodfire fragrance in the morning, etc. It has exceeded my expectation. We totally enjoyed our stay!
